Share My Love - Glenn Rogers

Hi everyone

I've written a new improver dance to a childhood favourite track - Have I The Right by the Honeycombs. I have choreographed the dance to Glenn Rogers' version (FREE download available from our site - with permission from Glenn) but the alternative is the Honeycombs version which is available on iTunes so no problem in getting hold of the music.

A big congratulations to Glenn on his Hall of Fame Inductee award and we told him at the CBAs that we would be writing to this track as it was one of my favourites. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

R back toe strut, L back toe strut, ¼ R shuffle, L forward, ½ R
1-2 Touch right toe back, drop right heel
3-4 Touch left toe back, drop left heel
5&6 Making ¼ turn right step right forward, close left next to right, step right forward (3 o’clock)
7-8 Step forward onto left, pivot ½ turn right (9 o’clock)

Section 2
L forward, lock R, L forward, touch R, heel switch R & L & touch R, hold
1-2 Step forward onto left, lock right behind left
3-4 Step forward onto left, touch right next to left
5&6 Touch right heel forward, step right next left, touch left heel forward
&7-8 Step left next to right, touch right toe next to left, hold for one count

Section 3
R side rock, recover L, cross shuffle, hinge ½ R, L forward, hold
1-2 Rock right to right side, recover weight onto left
3&4 Cross step right over left, step left to left side, cross step right over left
5-6 Make a ¼ turn right stepping left back, make ¼ turn right stepping right forward (3 o’clock)
7-8 Step forward onto left, hold for one count

R forward, ½ L, R forward ½ L, R kick ball change x 2
1-2 Step forward onto right, pivot ½ turn left (9 o’clock)

Alternative option for above 4 counts : right forward rocking chair
5&6 Kick right forward, step right next to left, step left beside right
