Hi everyone
Here’s a new dance called
Friends Will Be Friends . It was written for my friend Annie who has suffered very badly with Cancer and it was danced as a surprise for her at her 60th birthday party last night (3 March 2007) – where all the proceeds went to Cancer UK.
It is a very slow dance, only 75bpm, the music is Friends Will Be Friends by Queen which has very moving lyrics, hence my writing it to this track. This would be a good dance for charity events where people are or have been suffering with any serious illness and find their friends are there to support them.
On the sheet there is an alternative track being Best of Friends by Dave Sherrif and it dances quicker to the alternative. The lyrics to this also carry similar meanings of friendship.
The sheet is available on our website –
www.alanhaywood.co.uk and the video will be out shortly.
I hope you like it.
