On the Saturday night we had Tony Rouse as our act. He had been looking through our stepsheet books and came across Alan’s dance – More To Follow – which is choreographed to The Best Is Yet To Come by Peter Grant (same guy who sings Spooky) – Tony noticed that the alternative track was All My Ex’s Live In Texas. He said he sung that! So Alan did a quick teach of More To Follow – we all danced it to the correct music and then when Tony sang a bit later on, we danced it to All My Ex’s Live In Texas. But, Tony did not only sing, he learnt the dance earlier and then danced the dance while singing! Impressed or what!

And if you’re ever thinking of booking Tony Rouse, below is a list of dances that were danced to him singing – you’ll see what a wide range he has – again, in alphabetical order:

A Cowboy and A Dancer
Before The Devil
Cabo San Lucas
Closer
County Line
Eagles Rock
Full House
Galway Girls
Grundy Gallop
Heart Of An Angel
Heartbreak Express

Rollin' With The Flow

Somebody Like You
Tush Push

Tony’s not only a great singer but he’s so much fun – his jokes were hilarious!

Great crowd – whole bunch of new people we’d never met before and I hope we seem them somewhere again sometime!

Here’s to next time!

Hey now there's a vocation!

Well I report on other people's events as well as our own. I have been asked on many occasions - mainly by other choreographers - to do their PR as in - promote them - but my job is promote Alan I'm afraid!

But, like I said, I do reports on other peoples events as well - I think it's nice to see what dances are done by others - what dances are taught and especially going all the way down to Eastbourne (3 hour drive) what dances are requested by people from other areas!

Can you believe that no-one was up for Have Fun Go Mad? Absolutely amazed me!

Thanks for your nice comments - I see it how it is!
