| Hi Everybody
I don't post very often because I can't think what to say mostly, but I felt this was really worth putting pen to paper. We had Natalie with us last night at our social in Bedfordshire and she was absolutely fantastic. She sang everything from Wishful Thinking and Full House to To Love Somebody and Rule The World, which, although I'm a bit bias as it's our own dance, she really did do well. The floor was floor all evening and I don't think anybody wanted her to stop singing, She was Brilliant. Well Done Nat.

| Barb,
Has Calico split (errr.. Nat ex Calico).. or have they found another singer.
Anyway.. so you would recommend Natalie then..and does she go under a 'stage name'. Might as well give the girl a plug... this is an open board remember (ya never know who's lurking out there...lol) |

| Hi Mike Natalie left Calico quite a while ago, to persue a solo career. It was an amicable parting of the ways and they are all still good friends. Calico now have Nicki and two male singers and are still very, very good. But Natalie was really brilliant last night and well worth booking. She does a brilliant range of old, new country and modern stuff. So in answer to you question, yes I would and have booked her again and she just goes as NATALIE. I have an email address for her if you're interested. Hope this helps Barbie |

| Hi Barb,
ooops... shows how little I know doesnt it... (Natalie left Calico ages ago). The thing is, no cd's etc can create an atmosphere like a good singing act can. And whilst the cost is sometimes prohibitive to include live acts at ones own socials (if you run them) there is no reason not to go to others and support these entertainers. If a good act is appearing locally to where I live, I certainly would put on me 'gladrags' and go to watch them.... and my tastes are quite varied.
So if Natalie ever comes 'up North' and on your recommendation I would certainly go and see her sing. |
