Nice one Grrowler. John is another choreographer who's dances seem to find more favour in Asia than his homeland. Good for Asian dancers.. not so good for the UK ones... a real pity. |

| There are SOOOOOOO many dance classes and studios in Singapore .. you just would not believe how many. They even have very regular 'dancing in the street' venues at night time which are unbelievable - they often refer to these place where they dance at night as 'open spaces'. They also use thes 'open spaces' during the day as well - if not busy.
The list I use is compiled from 5 or 6 at any given moment. The list by the way doesnt always reflect the most POPULAR dances - just the teaches.
Click onto the link below (one of many) and it will take you to Lisa's very popular DANCE DIARY site. On the main page there are links to a number of studios etc...

Wouldnt that be great to have something like that over here. Can anyone think of anywhere possible near them? I'd find it hard to think of anywhere in my area. One class I used to go to, you sometimes got stupid teenagers who would think it funny to run over the roof and shout and stare in the door and make faces, then laugh at the security men to would have to chase them away. |

Is it the bandstand at Southsea this weekend? |

I think that was a oouple of weekends ago. They had lovely weather apparently.
Portsmouth Guildhall square would be good. Also outside the Southampton Guildhall maybe, at least the Police station is next door just in case theres any trouble. |
