| At this very moment... Rodders is singing 'You wear it well'....
and only about a mile and a half away..sound carries at night... who needs to spend £50 on a ticket... get some ginger beer a few sarnies... climb onto the roof of the house ... and merrily sing along... oh... and get p*****d wet through... cos its bloody raining...

| He's coming to Coventry on July 10th!!!
And Im not going!  I cant believe he's coming to my home town and i cant go! 
Bon Jovi and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers both played at the Ricoh last year and I could hear them from about a mile or so away. |

| Rod was in cov last night, I was hoping to hear the concert from my house, but no!
Apparently, early yesterday morning tickets went on sale as 2 for 1. They had big problems filling the venue and it was only just over 1/2 full when the box office opened yesterday.
I thought i might try and go, £65 for 2 tickets is not quite so hefty! But I had to teach a class! Grrrr...  |

I just hope your students realised the SACRIFICE, SWEAT & TOIL you made to give them THEIR enjoyment. I hope you told them that you CRIED buckets when the ticket were two for one... but your students came first.....

I believe the jury's out on that one! 
But Ive decided to make up for missing out on my concert...
...by booking myself a holiday! 
I told all my classes that theyd continue right through the summer, and id take a holiday at xmas instead! But after all this gloomy weather, I just cant take anymore! So Im off to visit my sister in America, either this weekend or the following! I just hope i can find someone to cover my classes at such short notice!  |

| Im going to Iowa, which im always told is in the Mid-West so I guess its not quite central and not quite on the west-coast!!
