Hi everyone

Whilst teaching recently at Wendys Wildcatz charity event, I was asked by a lady called Rhonda Baker to choreograph a dance for her to Help Me Rhonda by The Beach Boys.

Well, I have and here it is! A PDF version is on our site and has been sent to all the usual places. We hope to shoot a video this week and when done will put out the link!

Hope you like it (hope Rhonda likes it!)

The actual recording used on the video is that of Candy's Cousin.. as I have both versions I don't mind admitting I do prefer Candy's relations. It feels warmer and is less 'breathy'.

Took me about 35-40 minutes to fully get to grips with the dance.. so most out there.. I would say 25 minutes to get it 100%

The script is on most dance sites - or contact Candy direct.

SO CRAZY:

We found in South Africa and this country one of the ...

Yep…. The Bubblegum classic of ’68 is alive and still running amok.

All that be said is that some Advanced (?) dancers may have to lose their ‘cool’ (and ‘snootiness’…lol) if they wanna do ‘their’ dance.

If you thought ‘SURFS UP’ was wacky – then be prepared to ‘lose it totally’ with this dance

I have written two new country dances, both to be taught at a workshop in Skegness in August and in South Africa in September.

Here's the first one. It's been choreographed to Rebel Child by Gretchen Wilson but has an alternative track which is I Feel Fine by The Beatles. You get to choose which one you like the best! The PDF version of the script can be obtained from our site but has also been sent to Linedancer and the usual places.

Hi…

Gotta’ tell you about LORELEY..

This has been danced in parts of middle Europe for the past three years and until now has been one of their best kept secrets.

The dance is really REALLY well crafted. A credit to the Choreographer (Manuela Bello) and because it is very soft flowing (like a Willow on the breeze) the ‘hands behind the back’ do not feel awkward at all.

On some sites you may find that the script says ‘Start on vocals’ – the dance does NOT start on the vocals.. but on ...

The music is based on the classic 'Elizabethan Serenade' made popular by Mantovani in the very early 1950's. This Ska/reggae version stems from 1969/70 and was popular in many Countries throught the World.

The musical phrasing is 36-44 throughout the dance so a 36 plus 8 count simple Tag at the end of EVERY second wall is the order of the day. Last time I did a 'phrasing' this was with DOOHOO.. and that proved a headscratcher to some... though ...

Hi,

In case anyone (helloooooo..) out there may be wondering if ‘William Sevone’ (aka Mike Taylor) has retired from Choreographing Line dances – the answer is NO!!

No new dances have been put on this site simply because other choreographers appear(ed) reluctant to place their dances on here – but were/are quite happy for me to put them on for them – and it could have created a ‘William Sevone Only Dance Site’ which would have been looked ridiculous.

Below is a list of dances ...

Hi

Alan wrote this dance in February, way before this song was Enrique's new single - so how pleased we were that he chose this song as his latest single!

Hi everyone

Both Ross and Alan loved this song by Will Young so much - so rather than one of them write to it, they decided to write to it together! It's a 2 wall intermediate waltz linedance, hope you like it!

This dance has just been published in BWDA Magazine too!

Alan's new dance called IT'S FINE is to It's Alright by Seal - it's his latest single and is on the Soul album - just love the song - hope you do too! There are 3 other dances called It's Alright - different tracks completely, hence the reason we called it It's Fine!
