ALAN GREGORY

Alan often suggests a dance to whatever he is going to sing but he always has a plan B. or a plan C! Personally I prefer to work out my own line dance to any obscure county song. However, looking forward to seeing Alan at the Stallion ...

I went to see Dierks at the Borderline in London last week. He was absolutely great. Very small venue, stupidly hot but and the sound was not great. Trouble hearing his vocals sometimes as the balance was poor.

George Ducas was the support and he was excellent. Have to confess never heard of him before but he had fans in the crowd.

Best of all though. Dierks came into the bar after the show and gave everyone a chat and a photo session. I had a lovely cuddle but my picture was ...

My Favourite Songs

My favourite dance is Roman Holiday and as a bonus my favourite song at the moment is "On an evening in Roma" by Patrizio Buanne. It also helps that he is so goodlooking - Did anyone spot him in the linedancer mag ? I suggested to my class that we have a competittion and the prize a trip to Roma - no takers so far - I'm puzzled clearly not everyone's favourite - but Im having fun and enjoying the dance for now. Are there anymore fans out there.

in answer to the question - which bands do we like best.....

I love the westcoasters and the thrillbillies - they are entertaining as well as up to date with their line dance tracks....

for something completely different you cant beat the Swing Commanders! so unusual - so difficult to line dance to! but if you are up for a challenge you can manage it lol their style is kind of 30's country i think (not sure!) but they are amazing - with about 7 people in the band they keep everyone ...

This is my current fave new dance. I love the music and the dance just seems to flow so beautifully. I really enjoy it but have to be careful not to be next to someone who's easily confused. I'm very easily put off and there's only little part of the music that seems to trip me up (not literally) every time if I'm not careful.
