I was having a nice peaceful sleep and you have to wake me up.... oh well...

Yep id gone into hibernation too, trying to avoid some of the chaos that is the festive season! What happens to nice, normal people once christmas comes? Everyone goes crazy!! tongue

hello everybody i am back again!
I was the last year so busy that i all about this forum forgot sgame on me Embarassed

i am Elly de Vries from Almere-Holland i dance by the rainbow dancers for over 8 years.
i am a socialdancer and i love it DFD

i will do my best to visit this forum at least one time a week.
i am home today have all my shoppings done and we have a quit Christmas this year the first day we are alone me and my husband and the second day we go to our daughter .
and then the day after christmas i go with some girlfriends to a X-mas party and have a good time.

You have your shopping already done!!!.... who's a clever,well organised girl then cheers

I live VERY close to two big shopping centres (one being the largest Wal-Mart in Europe) and you would think its the 'sales'.... everyone buying up everything and anything...
The sad thing is... a LOT of that food is going to get wasted and simply thrown away...

..BUT.. and a MEGA but.... why oh why do people ALWAYS seem to leave it to the last minute.. I finished off my shopping the other night at 11.30pm (Wal-Mart is 24 hour - so why not use it).

No parties this year... well... not been invited to any scratch

... so what will your husband be doing whilst you are having a good time with your girlfriends - washing up????... affraid

my husband is going to visit his friend and don't miss me at all.
He don't like dancing Laughing

so he is not going with me.
It was not so very busy in the city i think that almost everybody had done there shoppings this weekend.
I was for fun in the city yesterday and it was very crowded than.
It is a Western Experience X-mas festival where i go to thats every year with Christmas also on second Christmas day but that is out of the question, all of our childeren are married so i stay home than.
a pitty there is nothing in UK.
are you going to the worlds?

Ahhh... Hubby going to his friends... and you going to yours... some pople may say... 'awwww thats sad'... I say... 'yeah... go for it'... its healthy.. its fun.

No, I do not do the 'Worlds'.... now if it was Athletics!!!!!.. how about THAT for a total contrast.. Very Happy

Your Husband is like my Wife... she does not like dancing either... not even Ballroom... though she DOES like her style of Disco dancing (around the handbag/girls in a circle..haha). My dancing... hmmmm.... more solo than partner.. I dance a bit like Tigger (avatar)...
