| Hi, I've been gone for so long you may have forgotten me. I stopped dancing for quite a while and got to a stage where I thought I wouldnt ever go again. Thank goodness my friends kept on and persuaded me to get back on the dance floor
Hope everyone is keeping well and am going to have a quick look back at some threads to see what I've missed. |

Its good to be back dancing although I'm down to one night a week atm. I dont know where I fit in I think I'm a bit more forward than beginners but I couldnt keep up in the intermediate class I was going to. I like a challenge but I found I needed a wall before we started and just remembering the names of the dances was hardwork |

| Hi DG I've gone back dancing at Banners & Boots at Totton on a Thursday night. Used to go to Hedge End on a Wednesday, but at Totton theres a bigger floor and more room I really like the teachers and the people there are very friendly, but would like to find another club on a different night, which would be a bit more challenging. On a wednesday I used to go to Micks Amigos and would of gone back there too but apparently its cancelled now. |

| ...and that reminds me....
Jules, one of our members had problems with her hip/s a short while back and, if my memory serves me - I think she may have had an op and is recovering... which could also be the reason she hasnt been up to posting on the forum... ... hopefully Jules will make a good enough recovery to 'take to the floor' once more. _________________ Stay bright - Stay happy, Hold on to your dreams |

| | I think Mick is still running his beginners class, which I need to find out because I have a couple of friends who would like to start. |

| Hi Mike
Had my hip replacement operation 8 weeks ago and am recovering well. Not allowed to 'take to the floor' for a few more months ..... very frustrating not being able to dance _________________ Jules

| Hiya Jules,
Just take it easy girl.
I DO know what its like wanting to get back and curl a few boards... but as Scotty (Star Trek) would say...
'She canna take it Cap'n... the auld hips canna 'hippy hippy' never mind 'shake' at the moment... it's gonna take a wee bit longer to get to Warp speed'
So pleased that you a making a good recovery. _________________ Stay bright - Stay happy, Hold on to your dreams |
